CWLA PAC Announces Endorsement of O’Malley in Campaign for Irvine City Council
(Irvine, CA) – Today, the California Women’s Leadership Association (CWLA) PAC announced their endorsement of Irvine Transportation Commissioner Carrie O’Malley for Irvine City Council.
“It’s so important to have strong women, like Carrie O’Malley, on the Irvine City Council. We are proud to endorse Carrie who prioritizes public safety and transportation solutions, as well as instills measures to safeguard our children’s future,” said CWLA PAC Executive Director Ashley Hayek. “We believe Carrie will be a tremendous asset to the people of Irvine, and all of Orange County, when she is elected to the City Council.”

Founded in 1994, CWLA is a statewide organization that brings together influential women to affect meaningful change in communities and government.
An active Irvine community member, O’Malley is an appointed Commissioner and Vice Chair on the Irvine Transportation Commission, Chair of the Irvine Taxpayers Association, and Vice President of the Board of Directors of her Homeowners’ Association in Northpark, where she is an original homeowner. Carrie is also a twenty-year Member of the Junior League of Orange County and has been involved with countless successful efforts to help the Orange County community. She and her husband, John, have been married for nearly two decades and enjoy spending family time with their two teenage children, Shannon and Jack. In her free time, O’Malley enjoys attending her children’s baseball and basketball games, long-distance running on Irvine’s beautiful trails, and contributing her time and talents to helping the residents of Irvine.
